This gentleman cleared the path for me! Thank you again! (Video captured in 2015, Location: Burton Cummings Community Center)

Getting to the Disraeli Active Transportation Bridge: for 2017 anyway as everything is out of stock now.
I want higher speed (>12.5MPH), and the same or longer range (>=18 Miles) than my Yuneec E-GO. Single motor is fine as there are no hills to surmount in the City of Winnipeg. What options are available if I am willing to spend around say 1.5k Canadian? Evolve Bamboo Street - 17 pounds; 19 Miles Range (at 12.5 MPH); 24 MPH Top Speed; Single Motor at USD999 (plus expensive shipping from Australia); 97mm Wheels Option at USD50; Optional fast charger; Motors and Drive Belts exposed; No user purchasable replaceable electronics and motors. Marbel - Very light at 10 pounds; 16 Miles Range; 25 MPH Top Speed; Single Motor; Motor and Drive Belt seemingly well covered; 1 Year Warranty; USD1,400; 100 mm wheels optional at an extra of USD25; Not available for customers outside USA now due to a limited production capacity; No user purchasable replaceable electronics and motor. Boosted Single Motor V2 - 14 Pounds; 22 Miles Range (Standard Range Battery (8 Miles) together with a user replaceable Extended Range Battery (14 Miles)); 18 MPH Top Speed; Weather-Proof (V2 only); Mostly Concealed Motor and Drive Belt; USD1099 (One Standard and One Extended Range Battery, 1 year warranty, only If I pre-order now with a delivery time totally unknown for Single Motor); Shipping to Canada is FREE; Custom fees around 200 I would guess; Could be tiresome carrying an extra battery in a backpack; User purchasable replacement electronics and motor will become available. Semi-DIY - Buy my own deck and get a huge battery; Enertion 360Wh Battery (25 Mile Range) USD430; Fast Battery Charger USD99; CarvON V2.5 Single Hub Motor + Front Truck + ABEC11 90mm Flywheel Set USD399; VESC (pre-programmed for CarvON Hub Motor) USD99; TorqueBoards 2.4ghz Nano Remote Controller USD60. A total of USD1087 without the longboard deck. The lesson learned so far: a board will become defective in one way or another. User purchasable and replaceable parts are important. One really doesn't want to send a board in for repair in a 5-foot box, especially if the destination is outside of North America. The choices are now between Boosted Single V2 and Semi-DIY. Boosted Single V2 - All specs look excellent except that I have to carry a spare battery. I will need a big backpack to carry a battery, a camera and a couple of lenses. Semi-DIY - Kind of insane acceleration and speed with a deck of my choice. Possible excitement in programming the VESC myself which I have no experience with. However, there is a big negative: possible signal drop-out of remote controller. Putting safety first, the Boosted Board Single V2 looks like the best choice for me. that I didn't say hello to you when we passed each other. Somehow, I tend to miss quite a few nice fellows like you. Sorry! (Picture captured from the movie taken by my Sony Action Cam.)
