The left rear wheel was coming off my DIY again after a 2-hour trip. (Voltage dropped from 41V to 33V, not too bad at all.) The silicone sealant I used just don't stick to metal as good as I wanted. It did hold onto it for a long while. It's not bad comparing to a previous brand of silicone sealant which slid right off the motor after drying. The (dark gray) silicone sealant did stick to (blue) rubber very well. The problem with this particular wheel is that the recess was bored way too deep, giving it space to slide out even with the end cap tightly secured. Filling the excessive recess with silicone sealant. Let's see how long this time the fix could last.
