Received from Yuneec USA a replacement Motor Assembly free of charge. They told me to pull the connectors apart as hard as I can. It took me a couple minutes just to accomplish that. Everything else in the replacement process was easy. There had been two issues with my board since early October: total power loss during slow and sharp turns and random wheel lock-up when pushing even with power turned off. A brief test down the basement showed that the first problem is now fixed. Since the roads are now covered in snow, I can only assume that the second problem is fixed as well.
I am sending the defective Motor Assembly back as soon as I can. Thank you Yuneec!
